Was honored to shoot the wedding of high school sweethearts/Streetsboro grads Kelsie & Zack Naymik this summer. So incredible to know the majority of the bridal party and guests. Had such a blast catching up with former students and their families, and covering the wedding with my very talented niece, Natalie Queen. NAt took this pic of me and my dear Colin Boldin, one of the groomsmen. Colin was the only guy in Streetsboro High School Yearbook his senior year, and he was a champ!

The Arcade and East 4th in CLE are some of my favorite places to explore and shoot. Spent a summer evening with these twin brothers doing their senior photos and just loved hearing them marvel at the area for the first time. East 4th is so alive with people, music, greenery, murals and fun vibes. We are so lucky to live as close as we do to this great city!

🎄Thinking about booking Christmas Photo Minis at a tree farm in Mantua and/or the farm in Olmsted Falls that does all the cool setups. I'd like to do these as a fundraiser for the service dog that will be joining my classroom in 2024! 🐾

Requests are coming in for senior sessions in July & August when that summer glow is fresh! Please reach out ASAP if you'd like to book before school and schedules get crazy. I start school at the end of August, and my Audrey (pictured below) will be starting her freshman year at OU, so we're extra busy this year!

My favorite fireworks of the year…my summer starts today!!!!

Here's what I've been working on since finishing the yearbook. People ask me all the time where we/they should take photos, so this is my response! Was fun going through four years' worth of senior photos to put this together. Many of these seniors have already graduated college and are adulting AUGH! I could have made this 5 times as long with all of the great photos and memories... Later I'll do one for family photos, too :)

Immersed in journalism for over 20 years now, I am a photographer who is passionate about preserving memories for people. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and have taught the subject -- as a part of my yearbook, newspaper and graphic design curriculum -- for 17 years at Streetsboro High School. Most of my spare moments are spent indulging in photography -- researching, practicing, editing, teaching and appreciating! My favorite subjects: my husband and college sweetheart, Jake; our daughter Audrey and son Jack; our Golden Retriever Emma; our rescue kitties, Hopper a.k.a. Bad Kitty and Sammy; my daughter's cheer team; my son and husband’s phenomenal theater group, Thrive; and my own beloved Streetsboro Rockets! My niche is senior and family portraits, though I also enjoy shooting weddings and other events/special occasions. I shoot on location -- not in studio -- and really love traveling to the beautiful towns, landmarks and parks throughout northeastern Ohio! Some favorite sites include: Squire’s Castle, Crown Hill Cemetery, Henry Church Rock (formerly Squaw Rock), downtown Chagrin Falls and sites throughout our great city of Cleveland, including the city signs with the beautiful skyscrapers and Lake Erie in the background!
