Hey flower friends,
The time has come for Rebel Petals to make changes. Going forward, all floral requests will go through Stone's Magick Emporium ( on Insta), as Meredith goes back to her roots of hand embroidery and crafts. The shop will still be around at the Allisonville location until the space is re-rented, and is rebranding as a gift shop called The Geek Mystique (no insta yet) and online at TheGeekMystique.com (with shipping!). We hope you follow our new endeavors and know that we still when we can. Thank you all for everything!

Flowers in the time of COVID

Two best friends. Meredith was working for a large grocery chain store florist department, and getting tired of the corporate life. Tori was recovering from a series of surgeries to reconstruct her Ehlers-Danlos ankle joint, having been a stay at home mom for the past decade. Together, they decided to set out on the adventure to open a floral shop. With Meredith’s years of experience and Tori’s business mind, it was the perfect pairing. It was February 2020... right before the United States met the true likes of COVID-19.

We were forced to think outside the box. To rebel against what the traditional flower industry offers. What would be a way to run a florist business and still stay safe from the virus? In our search for a floral cooler, a cute little box trailer popped up. Indianapolis has had flower trucks in the past, but there wasn’t one in operation currently. It’s an untapped market! We can be mobile! We can be small! The #FlowerTruck was born.

In the past few months, we’ve been renovating the trailer to be the cute little Boho flower truck you see today. We’re working hard at becoming Indy’s premiere mobile florist and building a name and presence for ourselves.

In early August, we signed the lease on our shop at 5170 Allisonville Rd, Suite B. We finally have a place to have all our flowers stay happy and healthy for our clients and to store all our stuff! Come see us as we do a Soft Open before our Grand Opening (details on that coming soon!)
