HEC 98 is proud to have the support of Bears for Humanity, a certified organic and fair-trade company with the mission of creating safe and Eco-friendly organic products, protecting the environment, creating fair trade living wage jobs, and giving back to causes for children, animals, and the environment. Bears For Humanity has helped us create the first-ever sustainable amenity bear in HEC history!
Students have had the opportunity to create their own teddy bear drives, supporting one of three meaningful organizations: the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House of New York, and the Family & Children Services of Ithaca. March 16th is Giving Day!
March 16th is Giving Day!
As an entirely student-run, non-profit organization, HEC depends on generous donations and sponsorships received through events like Giving Day. HEC supplies students with a unique opportunity to explore their passions in the hospitality industry while providing the best service possible.
With your support, we will be able to increase students’ access to networking events, professional development workshops, and experiential learning opportunities.
Your donation today can help us in our goal of continuously improving the conference and exploring the options for what’s possible in the hospitality industry.
Please consider contributing to the future of our conference at: https://givingday.cornell.edu/campaigns/hotel-ezra-cornell
Theme Reveal
We are excited to announce the theme for the 98th Annual Hotel Ezra Cornell! This spring, we invite you to join us for HEC 98 EXPO: Envisioning a Sustainable and Equitable Future Through Global Hospitality.
The last few years have been unprecedented, making the friend next door feel like they are in a neighboring city, neighboring cities feel like faraway countries, and faraway countries, lands uncharted. Today, we stand with a newfound understanding of the importance of community and the strength that lies in learning from one another.
At the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration, we believe that the future of the hospitality industry lies in our collective diversity. This year’s conference program has been curated to provide a space for the global faces of our industry to come together, connect, share, learn, and innovate.
Registration for HEC 98 opens on Tuesday, October 4th! If you are looking to stay with us at the Statler Hotel during HEC weekend, April 20-23, 2023, stay tuned to hear more information regarding the conference room block with discounted rates.
