Though it is disheartening that it took an innocent man’s untimely death to have the world pay attention to our issues, I’m happy to see us come together and unite to take a stand for what is right. As a black Founder and CEO of a rising company and as a man of color period, my hope for peace and equality is restored knowing that this time, the entire world will stand with us and acknowledge that we as Blacks should not ever be viewed as less than a citizen of this country, we should not be worried that our families are in constant danger because of our skin color, and should not feel as if we are not protected by the justice system. It is my duty to run and provide a service that brings out the best of my clients in the community I serve regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, or any other grounds for discrimination. Therefore, I must address our current issue at hand and take a stand for what is right, and thank God my Black American brothers/sisters are not standing alone this time. God bless.
