🌞 Our hard-working Superintendent, Nick, and his crew have been battling the elements all season long and are so thankful for a little bit of rain and the cooler fall temps that are finally starting to roll in. 🍂

Earlier this week, Nick and his crew aerified the course. Even the golf shop staff jumped in to help! 💪

A huge thank you to everyone for their efforts and to our golfers for your patience as the course recovers and preps for a beautiful fall season! ⛳️

⚠️Greens Aerification at Clover Valley Golf Club – Course Closure Update ⚠️

Clover Valley Golf Club will be closed all day on Monday, September 23rd, for aerification. The course will reopen on Tuesday, September 24th at 12:00pm. ⛳

Why Aerification?
Aerification is essential to maintaining the health of our greens. This process helps relieve soil compaction, improve water and air movement, and promote stronger, healthier turf. It may cause temporary inconvenience, but it plays a crucial role in ensuring the best possible playing conditions for the rest of the season.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this necessary maintenance. We’re committed to providing you with the best golf experience possible, and these efforts are part of that commitment.

Wow, what a summer! ☀️ Columbus just had its 3rd driest summer on record with only 5.07 inches of rain (normally we’d get around 12.74!). 🌵

Climatological summer runs from June 1 to August 31, and this summer just went down as the third driest on record in Columbus.

How to Play Lone Ranger Modified Scramble:
Each player plays their own ball, with the twist being that each player takes turns (in a predetermined rotational order) being the “Lone Ranger” for the hole. Two Scores are recorded per hole for the team: the Lone Rangers Score and the 3-Player Scramble Score from the other teammates. The Lone Ranger rotation would work as follows: Player A is the Lone Ranger for holes 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17; Player B is the Lone Ranger for holes 2, 6, 10, 14, and 18, etc.

*Cowboy Hats are allowed & encouraged!
