After a very long hard fought battle filled with many upsets we brought home two freshmen state finalists! Who embody Kalama wrestling style with grace class and honor your coaches are extremely proud of both of you young men and can’t wait to see what next season brings you two hammers!! Great job!!

This weekend the HS boys competed at The Pac Coast at Hudsons Bay. It was a very tough tournament with many top teams in the 3A and 4A divisions being in attendance, and every Finals match being State Champ vs State Champ. With many tough matches wrestled by our studs, we came home with a good idea on how we compare to the best in the state and what we need to improve on to peak in February!

Congratulations to Ivan Bailey for taking 7th at 120LBS!

Great Showing at the King of the Mountain in Darrington this weekend by the high school team. With many league/region teams in the tournament, our squad placed the highest by a landslide!

3rd as a team Overall!

Solid weekend of wrestling for the HS team. At one of the toughest tournaments in the state, we came home with 5 medalists with many tough matches and a few wins over returning state placers.

First of all I want to apologize for any miscommunication. We’ve gone to war with 2 seperate singlet retailers this year and obviously, nothing has worked in our favor. The last thing I wanna do is keep people waiting/hold your money. In past years we haven’t had this issue and everything has been smooth sailing. As much as I wanted our dudes to rock some awesome looking chinook singlets this season, unfortunately it is not going to work out. As some of you may have noticed, I refunded your singlet money via Venmo or Cash app. If you gave me cash or wrote a check, I will return whichever one to your wrestler at the next practice they are at. We will have another singlet order going out come club season and again next HS season. Again, I’d like to apologize for any inconvenience/miscommunication.

On the bright side, let’s have a great season chinook wrestlers!!!

Okie dokie the kids have voted, and this is the singlet that won.it’s a reversible singlet so if you’d like to participate you get two for one. This is to all club members, to match the high schools “keep” singlet. it’s going to cost with shipping and handling included 150$. Please let us know on here if you’re interested, then pleas meet in the wrestling room this week or next between 5:15-730.

We’re planning on doing a Rudis Team Bundle order for anyone within Kalama Wrestling this season. Wrestlers, Coaches, Parents, Family members ETC.

A bundle will include:
-Singlet
-Warm up top
-Warm up bottom
-T-Shirt
-Sweatshirt
-Gear Pack

In order to receive these, we have to have at least 12 Bundles ordered in order for Rudis to ship us gear. Bundles will Cost Roughly $305 a piece but this is gear your wrestler will be able to keep! I’m trying to get an estimate on how many people are interested as I said we have to order at least 12 Bundles. This is by no means a requirement and is completely an
optional thing! If you have any questions or are interested in purchasing a gear bundle please let me or Coach JD know!
