My cosplay broke the morning of the shoot so I sadly didn’t get to wear it but the shoot was still completely wonderful and you all looked amazing!!!! Send more pics if ya got em! I’m going to start collecting them to post here as well 🙈✨

Details details! There’s tons of teeny pieces of the Gwynevere pie to assemble so as I enter the home stretch of the cosplay I’ve got lots of little things to add and decorate with ✨

Had one of those little AHA✨ moments trying to figure out what to do about my fabric! Gwynevere has an ornate muted gold trim on some of her outfit and sashes and I could not for the life of me find one locally that was looking right so I settled for the inside of a gold churchy fabric I found at Joann. I was trying to figure out what to do because I was not happy with the difference in color accuracy when it hit me, LAYER THAT S**T!!!

I had 3 yards of a leftover crème/beige lace and when you layer it over the gold Joann fabric, voila it’s the perfect muted gold and the print is even closer now to the source material too with the appliqués!

Which also means I have to completely layer all like 5 yards of this trim i need so I have effectively doubled my work load but IT IS WORTH IT I PROMISE 😤

Making progress on Gwynevere! Low key stalling on the top and shorts because I’m still trying to figure out how on earth I’m going to pattern them but today I begin the uphill battle 😮‍💨🫵

Weathering my Gwynevere bracers today! This is the funnest part of the cosplay process I would love to do this all day instead of the sewing but alas 😮‍💨

Also if you’re weathering something I highly recommend styrofoam cones from the craft store because they are SO CHEAP and great for gauntlets and bracers 🫵

Shoutout to Adam Colson for all the help with these pieces!! I got an absolutely perfect model from the wizards at Spearmaster Cosplay and he was able to size and print these on his printer at home, I have never had anything 3D printed for a cosplay before so this is a totally new avenue for me 👁️👁️✨
