Can you see the embossed border on this lovely invitation? Embossing is the process of creating a raised design on paper. The procedure requires the use of two dies: one that is raised and one that is recessed. The dies fit into each other so that when the paper is pressed between them, the raised die forces the paper into the recessed die to create the impression. Embossing dies can be expensive, but we are pleased to introduce new semi-custom options with a growing library of pre-existing dies to choose from! ...........
