Ladies and gentlemen, it is officially fight week!!!

Here are some important notes:

1. On fight day, the doors open at 4pm and the fights start at 5pm. This is where the gift cards for the teachers can be dropped off. Don’t forget to bring gift cards of any amount from Amazon, Target, or Wal-Mart for the teachers of Southeast Middle. Please note that if you are a special guest, sponsor, barrier seat ticket holder, or online purchaser, go to the online check-in line to receive further instruction.
2. If you haven’t already, buy a ticket online to beat the longer check-in lines. Http://www.EventCreate.com/e/tootufffightnight
3. There will be concessions available during the event. We’ve partnered with a couple of special vendors to provide you with a great fight night experience. Hot Dog Hideaway and B n B Concessions will be onsite to serve our guests.
4. The will be a photo opportunity. It’s a self serve station so make sure to ask a friendly face if you want a non-selfie shot or a group photo. Share the pics on social using hashtag
5. Park where you can find a spot that doesn’t block anybody in. It’s never a bad idea to carpool. The gym is on the left side of the school. The front doors will be locked so you will enter from the left side of the building. Just follow around the left side of the building until you find the side entrance.
6. This is your friendly reminder— please don’t bring alcohol onto the premises. Please don’t drink in the parking lot. Please don’t bring anything in. You will be dismissed if you cannot comply. The good news is that there’s a great bar called Folly’s. The night won’t be too long so there’s plenty of time for drinking there. Our Too Tuff team will be there after the cleanup so we’ll just plan to have a great time at Folly’s!
7. Let’s make sure to respect the building and the people in it. Most every person involved in running the event is a volunteer. Be kind. Always be kind. Also, the building is not ours; therefore it is important that we treat it with the respect it deserves. Please be mindful of trash; throw your trash away. Every little bit helps.
8. Each fighter is brave enough to step into the ring and put their hard work on display. Cheer for them and encourage them. They aren’t getting paid to fight. Some of them are fighting for the first time. Some of them are even teenagers. Let’s show respect toward the fighters throughout the entire evening.
9. Most importantly, have an amazing evening. Be on the lookout for Too Tuff Fight Night 2!

Too Tuff Promotions is very pleased to announce a partnership with Folly’s Draft & Snack. Folly’s is a FANTASTIC bar located in downtown Kernersville. They offer 40 beers on tap, reasonable prices, a really nice ambience (indoor and outdoor), live music on the weekends, and a friendly staff. Reminder— Too Tuff Fight Night is an alcohol free event; we cannot have alcohol on the school premises under any circumstances. Torres Transformations offers many different services including permaculture education, design, fall clean ups, spring clean ups, lawn care, garden design, permaculture installs, landscaping installs, aquaponics education, permaculture education, and more.

They do what they do, using permaculture principles to grow food and healthy yards, so they can build a healthier environment and community. The method they use guarantees no weeding or watering. They even have a picture of a potato plant that is still thriving from 2 years ago!

Owner, Marie Torres, is a firm believer in education. She volunteers at Kitchenology to teach about nutrition in foods and why it’s important to grow foods naturally.

They also do yard clean ups and lawn maintenance. It’s good to know that they never leaves clumps in a yard or blow them into the street. They finish the job strong with nothing left unfinished.

It’s also important to note that Torres Transformations did some amazing work for me, personally. I had some pesky, awkwardly placed stumps close to concrete and they handled it. I have no complaints about the work they did for me or the experience with Marie. She’s prompt, hard working, and professional in all that she does.
