We are just 50 days from the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

The MNSSHP is my favorite season!

I love Jack Skellington in front of the castle.
I love the projections on the castle.
I love the music, the mickey pumpkins on the light poles.
I love trick or treating like a kid again.
I love the unique dressed character meet and greets.
I love the fireworks.
I love the short wait times on the rides.
I love the Boo to You parade.
I love the Headless Horseman riding down Main Street USA.
I love Oogie Boogie in the stage show.
I love the exclusive MNSSHP merchandise and yummy treats.

But most of all, I love setting up a surprise for when you return to your room after you had a magical night at MNSSHP!

Another day of No 1pm Virtual Queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure preview. Are only 50 parties getting through a day? I’m very interested in the operating numbers and hope that by June 28 it’s fully operational!

Today is the final day to experience Test Track in its current form 🚙

Tomorrow - June 17, 2024 - the popular EPCOT attraction will be temporarily closing for a reimgination. Imagineers said they intend on bringing “that spirit of optimism” from World of Motion “to the next iteration.” 🥹

We do not have a reopening date as of now, but you can expect Test Track to be closed for quite some time. 🚧

😁It’s also National Smile Day according to the incredible Chalk Art at the Lost Child center.

Too bad the rain storm decided the park needed to close early when today is the only day it stays open late (6pm) 😩

Friday the NEW DreamWorks Land opened at Universal Studios Orlando. This new land has me debating if I need tickets to go back to Universal. From Shrek to Trolls these new areas have me so excited!

The “Trolls” section of DreamWorks Land is so much fun. 🌈

The Trollercoaster is a great ride for kids and adults. Poppy’s Playground is so much for the kids too and has a lot of fun areas to enjoy. 🐞

Keep an eye out for Poppy and Branch as they often show up near the fountain for a fun meet-and-greet 📸

It’s fun on the Bayou!

The NEW ride of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens to the public on June 28TH. I was blessed with the opportunity for a ride preview today.

We had a splashin’ good time! To be honest, drop rides are not my thing but I had to try it. (I only rode Splash Mountain once or twice over the years).

It was very dark inside the ride so some pictures are a bit blurry but the fireflies were incredible. I will post a video of those dances next.

The animatronics are very cool and update. See my previous post about tips on the ride and waits etc. We had no trouble on or off the ride but it has ongoing struggle Disney is having to keep the ride operational all day. Hopefully they figure it out soon.

🐸Walking through Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue

I loved to sentiment to honor her father and the Military. Photos of his pinning on ceremony, photos of his uniform, letters from him to Tiana while active serving/fighting. His letters are so amazing but heartbreaking to read.

The back story that Disney Imagineers have created for this ride is so touching and I hope to get to slow down and look into the details.

✨James was revealed to have fought in the 369th Infantry Regiment (nicknamed the "Harlam Hellfighters"), notable as one of two African-American infantry regiments during World War I. Tiana's dad received the DSC (Distinguished Service Cross)—the US Army's second highest award for valor. 🎖

Tickets are now on sale for Premium Scream Night at Halloween Horror Nights - Universal Orlando 😈 - It will be on August 29, 2024.

Everything you love about Halloween Horror Nights but with limited capacity, shorter wait times, haunted house entry staggered by group, select all-you-care-to-enjoy food and more. 🔪 😱

Tickets are $350 plus tax. Universal Annual and Seasonal Passholders can purchase tickets for the discounted price of $325 plus tax.

Today was a successful attempt at previewing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Some tips-
Make sure to get a Virtual Queue at 7am with Magic Kingdom park reservations or 1pm with any park reservation

There is some flexibility in boarding group times. We were an hour late passed our arrival time because I wasn’t sure when the ride would open and I’m not a morning mover.

My youngest son (8 yo) decided he was too afraid to ride. The Cast Members were very understanding. He was allowed to wait in line with me and then there stairs over the boats to the exit. He was allowed to wait at the exit for me to ride the ride. A very nice woman in front of us also didn’t ride and she watched him. This stairs were so important because his anxiety was very high so I’ve Had to make walk through the boats he would’ve had a meltdown thinking I was making him ride.

The line moved very smoothly. Waited only about 15 minutes. There was nice ac blowing through the tunnels which was perfect in this heat.

The experience was very nice!

I’ll post more about the actual ride with photos later.

The new “Princess and the Frog” bus is making the rounds at Walt Disney World 🚌

Saw this beauty this morning leaving Epcot.

I’ve seen the new Orange Bird, Figment, Zootopia, Remy, Chip and Dale and Tiana. They are masterpieces on a bus! Can’t wait to see the other 20 new buses coming this year

Definitely first on my list!!!💸

Of the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise introduced, the interactive firefly may be my absolute favorite. 🥹

It comes with its own jar and lights up when activate or near other fireflies. Consider that its own way of “saying hello” to other fireflies. 💕

This ($32) and numerous other items will be available on June 28, 2024.

The days of the Shootin’ Arcade are indeed numbered. Which I had no idea was FREE to play!!

It has now been confirmed that a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) lounge will be replacing the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade in Magic Kingdom 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🤷🏻‍♂️

Disney says construction will begin sometime “this year.” 🚧

Take a minute to enjoy this arcade on your next trip before it’s gone for good. The details are quite unique 🤣 giving Haunted Manison cemetery vibes

We are off to a rocky start! 😩

🐸Today’s the first day of the Annual Passholder Preview of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

It’s 11:45am and the ride just started boarding. We are impatiently waiting for 1pm to grab a boarding group number for our chance to preview this new adventure 🤞

Having a group number doesn’t guarantee a chance on the ride 🥺 Hopefully the line runs smoothly so everyone gets a chance to ride. My friends from CT leave tomorrow so this is their own shot for a preview.

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree setlist includes “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin,” “Try Everything” from “Zootopia,” and “Bear Necessities” from “The Jungle Book.” The second episode of “We Call It Imagineering” included footage of Emily Ann Roberts recording “Try Everything” as the voice of Trixie.
