💫AntiGravity is looking for some new rising stars to join our team! Our STARZ Program is AntiGravity’s tuition based pre-professional performance team that offers a multi-level training program for ages 10-21, including on-going weekly class requirements. Video submission is required to apply.

🌷The Spring 2024 Season Official Start Date: Week of January 8th.

🎞We will be holding auditions for new teammates (or current Starz attempting to level-up) through video submission. Requirements and directions for the audition can be found in the Starz Auditions Highlights in our Instagram profile. ⬆️

🤸‍♀️This multi-level class focuses on handstand technique, a key foundation skill for many circus, acrobatic & aerial arts. Students will learn correct alignment, and develop strength & control in various acrobatic poses. 💪This class is highly recommended to students who are also interested in learning other advanced-level activities such as trampoline, hand balancing, contortion, pegs, acro-sports, as well as aerial arts. 🎪The skills taught in this class are extremely useful and necessary to building a strong acrobatic foundation.

✨Macey started taking classes at Antigravity around a year ago and recently made the decision to move to Orlando. There are so many opportunities with performing, which is something Macey would love to do eventually. She has been coaching Gymnastics for 5+ years, and was previously a competitive Gymnast. Macey plans to use her experience and techniques to work on progressions in her Tuesday Handstand class. She’s excited to join the AG team and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

This class focuses on fundamental skills and conditioning. Aerial Straps is a mesmerizing aerial artistry akin to gymnastic rings and are as exciting as they are demanding. Our Intermediate Level specialty class will elevate your strength, control and flexibility to help you conquer the next level of your Straps journey. Leaving you better prepared to focus on new technics and tricks when taking a standard Aerial Straps Class.

⚠️Level 3: Intermediate level class. Instructor approval required. Adults ages 12+ (all age exceptions must be approved thru AG Management).

‼️Prerequisites: All Intermediate/Advanced classes require instructor approval to participate.
👉To attend Level 3/Intermediate classes: Students must be able to perform 'AntiGravity's Intermediate Level-up Combo,' which involves a minimum of 2 consecutive pull-ups, 4-count strong hold, 2 consecutive rock-n-rolls, and 1 v-up inversion.

🔍WORKSHOP FOCUS: Drops & Sequences

🔗Sequences are the foundation of strong vocabulary & movement quality on silks. Drops are not only thrilling to watch & perform, but also provide the opportunity to develop & refine silks technique. In this workshop, we will marry sequences & drops for the ultimate challenge to the silks students looking for both intricate & dynamic choreography for their next routine!

✨More details... This workshop will explore upper-level silk sequences featuring a variety of unique stacking moves, big drops, spin combos and other dynamic tricks meant to impress audiences. Take your silk technique and act choreography to the next level by challenging yourself in this intermediate/advanced silk workshop!

‼️Int/Adv Level Prerequisites: At a minimum, students should be able to confidently perform the skills listed below:
1️⃣Ability to safely execute a double star
2️⃣Ability to spend at least 1 min in the air
3️⃣AntiGravity's Level-Up Combo: (2 pull-ups, 4-count strong hold, 2 consecutive rock-n-roll inverts, 1 v-up unassisted)

♥️Welcome Mackenzie to our Front Desk Staff!

🌟Mackenzie has been a dancer her whole life and discovered AntiGravity and aerial arts last year. She has a Bachelor of Science in dance management and has an extensive background in costuming. Professionally she has worked with Joffrey Ballet NYC, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University, Orlando Ballet, and the Orlando Rep. Currently, she creates costumes for AntiGravity and can be seen performing with Universal Studios. Mackenzie continues to train at AG to eventually perform as an aerial artist, as well as pursue performance opportunities throughout Orlando. She strives to live an intentional life valuing people and time to create memories to positively impact the world.

🌟 AntiGravity Staff Spotlight: Jillian Lee!

🍊Originally a Florida native, Jillian grew up performing highly competitive in all dance styles, culminating with representing the United States team at the IOC sponsored 2008. IDO Show Dance Olympics in Reisa, Germany, where she placed 9th in the world. At the age of 18 she finally moved to NYC to complete the collegiate program at American Ballet Theatre. Realizing she wanted to do more than company ballet, she then branded out into circus arts, stunts, film, nightlife, and event entertainment where she has been thriving as a free agent ever since -- touring with national shows, performing with countless artists at festivals and venues internationally, occasionally stunt doubling actresses, dancing and flying through the air all over the world for the last decade.

🌟Jillian has been performing on various apparatuses for AntiGravity Entertainment as well as collaborating with costume, hair and make up design for several years.

Don’t miss out again!! **Registration opens March 1st** “DANCING BUNGEE FUNDAMENTALS” Saturday April 2nd w/ Daniel Stover & Sarah Reece 3:00pm - 4:30pm > Level: Novice & Beginner > Ages: 10+ > $50 (1.5 hrs) for AG Registered Students & $65 for Non-Registered Students > Capacity: 8 students total > Prerequisite: None (aerial experience is recommended) “ADVANCED DANCING BUNGEE" Saturday April 2nd w/ Daniel Stover & Sarah Reece 5:00pm - 6:30pm > Level: Intermediate & Advanced > Ages: 12+ > $50 (1.5 hrs) for AG Registered Students & $65 for Non-Registered Students > Capacity: 8 students total > Prerequisite: Upper-level bungee experience is required (contact front desk for approval).
