Farm babies need to be prepped for this incoming cold snap! Get straw and shelters ready so your animals have the proper accommodations.

This is abnormally early in the season for this cold of weather, and many animals may not have a proper winter coat grown yet. Please prep for this weather so you don't get sick or worse animals.

These baby guardians are like fish to water! We had a crazy acting (possibly rabid) skunk on the property last night and into this morning and these pups we not having any of it. They guarded the animals as if they were grown and broke out of the yard this morning to protect the property.

We still have two females and one male available.

If you have met our guardian pups at an event, you’ve probably seen how much they want to play with our bunnies. Well, that is because we have one pet bunny that has been on the loose for months and refusing to be caught. This bunny has been playing with the puppies since they were all the same size and now the puppies don’t quite seem to know their size 😂

We had a great time for a second year at the High Praises Church Fall festival. It was great to see our friends at Big Oaks Rescue Farm again this year too!

Here is your annual reminder that we LOVE pumpkins! Our animals will happily take your unpainted pumpkins when you're done with them!

We will not be doing a pick-up this year at individual homes, but we are happy to pick up in communities if the pumpkins are centralized.

You can drop off at our farm anytime, I will have a pallet near the road to drop off on.

These guardian pups are on point when it comes to protecting. I don’t know what was out there last night, but we had the elder guardians reactive and the pups were following suit. You can see this little one was on a parameter fence doing what it’s supposed to do. 🫶🏼

We will always remember where we were when we heard the news. The feeling, the emotion, the uncertainty, the fear. The lines at military recruiting centers and friends that never returned.

9/11/2001 will forever be the day our worlds stopped and with not one word spoken, we banded together to pick up the pieces and unite as one mighty force to be reckoned with.

As broken as we may feel in the current political climate, I am reassured that the America we saw on this day 22 years ago still exists, and the unity still lies as the foundation we all stand upon.

If y’all haven’t tried making your own laundry soap yet, now is the time! The cost savings is substantial and the laundry is coming out just as clean, if not cleaner than with store bought!

Note: I added scent beads just for an extra scent. But the Zote soap actually smells great so I don’t know that I’ll keep adding beads after this bottle is gone.

Thanks to the generosity of a stranger, we had our annual vaccinations completely paid for!

92 vaccines and supplements and 13 flea treatments were administered today.

We enjoy helping our community and never ask for anything in return but it is greatly appreciated when donations are offered. 💕

Two weeks ago this little thing was brought to the farm after being found in a pothole in Clemson. She had a horrible bacterial infection that we started treatment on right away. After a week of mild progress we decided it was time to turn to Foxnest Veterinary Hospital for guidance (picture of her in the towel is at the vet).
Fast forward one week to today and she is sassy and loving life. 💕 she is roughly four weeks old and still not heavy enough to get fixed, but once she is, she will be looking for a new home.

Help our friends find their tortoise!

Update! He has been found and is home safe!

We believe our tortoise was picked up when he was out eating clovers yesterday. His name is posiden. He should have a microchip in his back leg. Please call us with any information you may have. We just want him back safe and sound!

We are located on Norris road between highway 187 and 29.

Please no negative comments. we just want to find our boy. He was in a fenced in area and we are not sure how he got out. He’s very strong and sneaky.

We are so excited to have The Feral Den at our Harvest Celebration this year! They are bringing some of the cutest animals in the upstate for our kids to snuggle and pet!

She is very sweet. Don't let the red eyes fool you. So many rabbits get passed over because of color. Her eyes are absolutely beautiful so red they have a lavender hue.
She does amazing with her litter box!!!!
This sweet baby is litter trained and spayed. Very friendly. Would love to see her go to a teacher as a classroom pet. Very reasonable rehomeing fee to insure serious pet home. Free as a classroom pet.

Have you ever wondered why we are named The Feral Den?

Well, here is a great example of the crazy feral behavior that happens around here and why I chose this name for the farm.

Let me tell you a story about our 🌟special🌟 little Dobby, aka Gunner, one of our five spoiled house dogs.

First we shall start with Clyde, one of our guardian dogs, pulling “a Clyde” and deciding today he isn’t in the mood to be a LGD and he wants to be a yard potato instead. Clyde was laying under my Ford Ranger in its normal spot parked in the front yard.

Dobby, bless his little heart…. Was running to and fro in the fenced backyard trying desperately to get Clyde’s attention. All the while I’m actively informing Dobby that Clyde would consume him like it was nothing and that he shouldn’t engage with him.

Fast forward to my husband, Jim going through the side gate to grab something and 💥 like lightning ⚡️ Dobby slithers through the gate straight toward Clyde. Clyde jumps up and greets Dobby with a posture appropriate to have towards Dobby…. *what is this little creature?* 🫤

I’m yelling at Clyde to not devour little Dobby 🙏🏼 as I’m running towards them. Dobby takes 🏃‍♂️ off! Down the driveway he goes with Clyde amused and prancing far behind him. Dobby is darting around as Dobbys will do. When Dobby takes a right turn toward the barnyard fence, Clyde becomes aware that Dobby doesn’t belong. A chase ensues - me after Clyde, Clyde after Dobby.

Dobby then runs around the bottom of the yard into our neighbor, Larry’s garden with Clyde hot on his heals; Dobby being completely unaware of the danger that he is in. Clyde continues to follow but shows great restraint obeying my commands and withdrawing as I ordered.

Dobby then abruptly stops and turns around and becomes very aware of Clyde’s protective demeanor. Dobby does what Dobbys do and believes he is Goliath (while he literally resembles Dobby) and snarls and nips at Clyde. Clyde begins to attack, causing Dobby to scream like the little bitch he is and once again, obeying my commands, Clyde withdraws and allows me to approach.

Dobby then runs back to the protection of the backyard and Clyde stands in victory with me by his side and awaiting my next command.

Also…. We chose this name because S**t Show Farm wouldn’t be appropriate for children’s birthday parties….. but I digress
