Celesta Bridals need your help! As many of you know, owning a business is a big move and having a brick and mortar is even more challenging post covid. Starting this business was and still is my passion, as it is the heartbeat of my spirit that keeps me moving forward. When I started this business, I used my own money and with all the recent events, I have simply exhausted all funds. While having capital is necessary, it is my biggest challenge. The lives that have been touched and changed by Celesta Bridal is nothing short of amazing and the testimonies continues to come in, however I can’t continue without funds.
Recently, we all have learned of a major bridal franchise filing bankruptcy and stores closing all over the United States. With this punch to all of us, brides are panicking while trying to figure out where what’s next in obtaining the dress of their dreams.
Celesta Bridal is here for all brides of all sizes, and with your help in obtaining the space, I will be able to give the bride and the bridal party an unforgettable experience. While there is only a hand full of black owned bridal stores in this country, I pride myself on being apart of the few, with offering services filled with love and excellence.
I have really been prayerful and trying to figure out how to make my dream and passion be successful, not only for me but for the brides as well. Nine years ago, I took a job in the bridal business to learn the ins and outs of the industry and at the same time learn what I was missing so I can pivot to ensure having a successful bridal business. Having a one stop shop, to includes a variety of flowers in the same building is a recipe for greater success. Having the option to do multiple VIB (Very Important Bride) sessions, private appointments and walk ins would be a dream come true.
I am prayerful that God has assigned me with passion to bring this vision to past, however I can’t do it without your help. In the surrounding Lithonia/Stonecrest area, there are no bridal shops or floral shops in this area, and this is my focused desire.
Join me in this “Capital” Campaign to raise $15,000 in the next 30 days. The funds raised will allow me to continue in my passion and dream having all the necessary tools to ensure an unforgettable experience. Grief is the worst emotional roller coaster EVER!!!! I made my first casket spray for my godmother’s funeral. She would have loved it because it was so her. She loved flowers and I made sure it was over the top like her. I’m missing her and definitely her phone calls.

My love for fresh flowers came from my grandparents Apostle C.E. White & Mo. Juanita White. My grandfather would always buy her flowers or bring her flowers from the garden that he had in his yard. I had never thought about starting a business with it even though I have always decorated and did floral arrangements for events, peoples houses and corporate offices but I did it it’s silk flowers. A friend/ mentor asked why hadn’t I started doing them because he love my silk arrangements. I said it hadn’t crossed my mind. He started to educate me on it and said it would be another source of income in my down time and while I build my bridal business Celesta’s Bridal.
