John Lowell is having a swell time at the Yellowstone Songwriter Festival in Cody. This unique sharing of songs with the people who wrote them is right up his alley and we're both excited that you'll all get to experience this in Livingston soon at the Livingston Songwriter Festival. Tickets available now..it's a shortened festival this year, as it was meant to happen in Whitefish. Their loss is our gain and we hope this festival grows to a three day annual event!

It is a terrific day. John Lowell received this note today from the Montana Arts Council. "Congratulations! It is my great pleasure to notify you that you will be awarded the 2024 Governor’s Arts Award! What an honor it is for us to be able to acknowledge you and your significant contribution to Montana’s reputation as “the Land of Creativity.”

The 2024 awardees are: Jim Dolan, John Dunnigan, Jackie Larson Bread, John Lowell, and Gayle Shanahan. Congratulations to all the winners, an official press release will come from the Governor's office and John Lowell Official will receive his award in person in Helena on December 5th, 2024.

We're very excited. It's the highest honor given in the arts in the state. Proud of you, John!

John Lowell got some great news yesterday from the International Western Music Association! His new release Snow on the Wineglass which has only been out since June 1 is doing great! He’s got a new single coming out next week called “Ol’ Pard” written with Joe Newberry. Stay tuned and thanks to all the DJ’s playing it. And to all of you for requesting it. ❤️
