Our Story

A Long Beach, CA Cirque Style entertainment & Aerial Arts classes.

In 2013 Hallie Jane, owner of Aerial Butterflies found out she was going to be a mom and going to be taking a break from performing as the Long Beach Aerial Butterly (named after her butterfly theme tattoos). “The bigger I got the more I missed aerial”, Hallie Jane. When her baby was a year old it was time to train again. HJ went to a local studio and that is where she met her inspiration, Alexis Udo-Udoma. Alexis was young, strong and excited to work toward being a performer. They became performing partners for a 2016/17 New Years Eve show and Aerial Butterflies was born. Shortly after coming down off the performance high HJ realized she wanted more of that feeling and wanted more of it for Long Beach artist. The purchase of a portable aerial rig made this happen first with a city park event. Only a few years later and the Aerial Butterflies have performed at many Long Beach events; at the Aquarium of the Pacific, at the Long Beach Convention Center for many different events, at Long Beach school carnivals, corporate events in LA, LB and OC, clubs and venues events across SoCal and the gig list keep growing.

In 2017 Hallie Jane was approached by Groundwork Fitness in downtown Long Beach to bring Aerial Arts to the gym. Using upstairs and downstairs Aerial Silks and Hoop classes are offered weekly.
