Cellista's Élégie debuts on March 23rd, 2024 at the Gordon Gamm Theater at the Dairy Arts Center!
Cellista’s “Élégie” is a one-woman show for cello, static trapeze, and cinema.
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of “Élégie,” a one-woman show combining static trapeze and aerial cello, haunting melodies, and cinematic visuals. Follow the journey of Élégie, a shapeshifting blackbird, as she awakens to the deserted city of Cloture, the city she lives alongside.
Élégie reveals surreal scenes through a unique fusion of physicality and storytelling. The static trapeze serves as Elegie’s metaphorical perch, accompanied by the evocative sounds of her magical companion the cello, and a cinematic backdrop.
