A soulful evening and perfect temperate weather with the vocally talented AvevA! Yesterday, Aug 3, the Skirball courtyard was alive with AvevA's anthems, which weave Amharic and English lyrics, and cover themes of society, freedom, and love. Everyone in attendance even learned Amharic lyrics that conveyed care for each other—a sentiment that we all could use more of. Thank you for yet another beautiful Sunset Concerts night, LA!
Join us every Thursday night through Aug 24 for FREE music against the backdrop of the Santa Monica mountains!
Sunset Concerts are generously sponsored by the Bilger Family.
