I grow over 100 varieties of dahlias in the summer- as well as many other annuals and perennials- that will be used in each arrangement. During the off-season I will use local greens and add-in some purchased flowers. Bouquets can be delivered to businesses and homes within downtown Lynden. They are also available for pick-up at the farm. One-time arrangements and contracts for the year are availa

“Sahara” Rudbeckia is another garden favorite. The range of colors in this variety makes for fun bouquet combos. You will find it mixed into wrapped bunches and vases in the white shed. Stop by and grab some sunshine on this rather gray and rainy day.

Buckets of beauty!!! We are hitting the point of summer where I wish we could slow things down a little. All the hours spent planting, watering, weeding and pruning are paying off and the garden is in its glory. If there were only more hours in a day to really soak it all in.
The cooler is stocked and ready for you to come by and take in some of the beauty also. Before we know it, the season will be behind us. Seize the moment and savor all the goodness it has to offer!

This new “seashell mix” strawflower from is an absolute winner!🏆I love the all of colors… and they will be wonderful dried in the off-season.
Something I think is so crazy about these flowers is that even after they are dried…they react to cold just as they do when they are alive. They close in the cold…and then open again when warm again. I find that so intriguing.
The white shed has lots of beautiful bunches available. Come on by!🌸

Statice!!! I used to think this was just ok…but I really have grown to love it. Especially in some of the softer more pastel shades. It makes a great filler in bouquets and dries beautifully. A winner for me. Maybe I can convince you too?
You’ll see it in the white shed today mixed in bouquets or straight bunches. Maybe buy a bunch just to dry and enjoy till next season. It holds its color for a least a year when dried. Rather amazing I’d say!🌸

Highlighting Gomphrena today. This little gem adds a fun punch of color to any bouquet. But its true beauty is that it dries almost in the exact appearance as when it is fresh. I try to save up lots of bundles of these cuties to use for off-season projects.
You will see Gomphrena in mixed bouquets and straight bunches in the cooler in the white shed today. The garden is really starting to be a flood of beautiful blooms of so many varieties . Hope you might stop by soon🌸

Today’s variety is “Madame Butterfly Bronze” snapdragons. I bought these as plug starts to make life easier (if you’ve not seeded snapdragon before…the seeds and first growth are minuscule😜).
I just love the apricot and orange and pink hues in this variety. There are lots of beautiful varieties of snapdragon…but in my opinion this one is towards the top. What say you?
I’ll have these available in straight bunches and in mixed bouquets in the little white shed today. Come on by and treat yourself!

Thought it might be fun to highlight some of the beautiful varieties that are available in the little white shed. This one is new to the garden this year and is called “Summer Breeze Mix” from . It is the background of my garden and I just love the variety of colors in this mix. It is so fun to see the birds dashing in and out or resting themselves on a tall bloom.
You will find bunches of all of these sunflowers or scattered in mixed bunches (with other flowers and foliage) + mason jar arrangements.
Let me know if you think this variety is a keeper… as I am already making my garden plans and seed orders for next season🌸

The little white shed is stocked with bouquets just for you. Mason jars, pint jars, wrapped bouquets, and some special arrangements are all stocked in the cooler. I also have a small “flower bar” for those who prefer to pick their own blooms. Although just a few dahlias are available…those will be coming soon! Hoping to be open everyday throughout the season (til the first frost). Come on by☺️!

Weekends of beauty! I love seeing the little details that are added to each wedding. This bride’s mom had me incorporate a piece of her wedding dress into the handhold of her daughter’s bouquet. Such a special addition.

We keep adding more tubers to the collection in the white shed. All have active sprouts and are ready to be planted in your garden. With the wet, cold spring we have had…I know many friends have lost some of what they planted. Dahlias do best in warm soil! It’s not too late to add the to your garden. These generous plants will give you so many beautiful blooms in the months to come. Stop by if you would like to give dahlias a try!🌸

Yay! Dahlias are all planted and I have a few extras of highly sought after varieties. If you have a spot where you would like a dahlia…these might be worth checking out. Some of them sell otherwise for $20+ per tuber…so this is a pretty good deal. Potted up and already growing, these will be blooming in no time.
(Bloomquist Blush, Peaches n Cream, Coralie, Salish Twilight Girl, Irish Ruffles, Bracken Rose…just to name a few. Others may be available if you have something specific in mind). I have them on the shelf across from the cooler for pickup if you would like to come by😀

The blooms have been terrific and I am again in awe of our amazing Creator who designs such splendid and unique flowers in all colors, textures, and sizes. Perhaps you are wondering…. where all the tulips are this year? Usually my cooler is full of lots of beautiful bunches by this time🌷💐🌷.
But this year is really a special one for our family as we have two girls graduating. The oldest from college in just a couple weeks…and the next from high school a few weeks after that. So for this season I chose to do less with flowers… so we could enjoy all the lasts and moments of celebration with our girls💖.
That being said…I have a very limited quantity of tulips if you want a special arrangement. Just ask…and I might be able to get something together for you.
