We are coming into our last week of service for the season. As happens every year, we will miss all of our guests but will be returning next April to start afresh. Cheers, drive home safe and have a nice Winter.

7 years - 7 lucky years it has been since we opened our little food cart window to Madison and its beautiful residents. Pictured below is our Patient Zero dish, a recipe that has floated along with me through multiple countries, versions, and restaurants - it's an old friend. I know the question, and yes, we will be starting the Dane County Farmers Market this Saturday - April 29th. And also yes, there will be Let It Ride cold brew on tap, weather and good sensibility be damned. Come find us at the top of State st., right in front of a WHOLE lotta people selling vegetables.
Light the beam, shoot the flares, wave out the smoke - Braisin' Hussies Food Cart, and Slow Cooked Goodness Emporium, will be re-opened for business this Tuesday, April 25th. If we could, let's keep the screaming to a minimum - people work out here.

Braisin' Hussies came out on top of the city's annual food cart review process this year, beating out 31 other carts.
Pumpkin Spice? Pish! Sweet potato is what's up, even better when served with wild mushrooms and bacon. Our season is dwindling down toward the end so now would be a good time to swing by and grab our Sweet Potato, Bacon and Braised Pork bowl. But, there's always next Spring...
In one of our few missed days, we will not be vending this coming Friday due to Flying-on-a-plane-somewhere-Itis. It's not contagious but we're not taking any chances

It's hot out. It's Summer out. We need cold things to eat out. Maybe, just maybe, out Cold Soba Noodle Salad will hit that spot. Buckwheat noodles, crispy, fermented veggies, dashi-miso vinaigrette. If it doesn't cool you down, perhaps it'll at least make you happy. You know where we are - BH
