sorry for the silence. like everyone else we have been taking some time to ourselves and spending the holidays with our kids and with our families that we sometimes only see once or twice a year, because we deserve to enjoy life outside of work as well. when photographers take breaks, trust me, its warranted and well needed. your photos are and always will be safe, they arent lost i promise. being a photographer is not for the weak minded. sometimes we need to breathe, especially during the last quarter of the year. with that being said, we are back to the grind this week to continue working on weddings and other sessions. we are excited to get back into the swing of things so we can start delivering these galleries! hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and have a safe and relaxing first day of the year before its time to go back to work.

this was my instagram story from last night. 1am. and this is a lot of nights a week. if youre a photographers client, please keep this in mind. at the end of the day, your photos are safe and sound and will be finished in due time. please have patience. its a busy time of year for all of us and a lot of us have full time jobs and families to care for when we get home. last year we swore we were no longer editing on weekends because life is more than just work. at this time of year, we find ourselves editing on weekends. please be patient.
on that note, i am out of office until monday for a bachelor party weekend with a group of long time friends. i know, crazy, im actually in one this time around 🤯😂 when i return we are going to do our best to get these last few sneak peaks out by thanksgiving so you all have something to show your families. im now off the grid. catch yall in a bit.

thank you to all the families that came to our truck sessions today! so many new faces, and a handful of familiar ones. this was our first time doing red truck minis and i think we rocked the set up. its exactly how i envisioned it. if anyone from our christmas sessions this year does christmas cards with your photos, please message me for my address, id love to receive one!
thank you to The Farm at Raven Brook for having us again! its a great group of people over there. family owned, family ran. they go out of their way to open their property to us photographers to be able to have a great location for our sessions. i always create my own set ups but for those that dont, they even have many different props and even full set ups for rent. if youre a photographer check them out. they are the definition of small business helping small business.
p.s. if you book a session, go to it. us small photographers bank on these types of sessions to help us get through the down season, if you dont show up to your session youre taking from that. if you cant make a session, tell them you cant make it well before, as that spot couldve been filled by someone else. when we fully book we have to push people away, when in reality we couldve booked them instead. a lot of time and money goes into getting props and designing our set ups, the booking process, the promotion, etc. also, the truck costs a lot to rent so when you dont show up to your session, it effects us drastically.
anyways, now we get back to finishing up this wedding, some wedding sneak peaks by thanksgiving, and getting these christmas photos out by the first week of december. catch yall soon 🤟🏻
