Great weekend for the JDDAMS Racing Team!

We headed to the Wentz Training Facility to race at TOR Racing GP. Delilah had good starts in both motos, grabbing the holeshot in the second moto. Finishing 8-8 in the races, she took 8th/17 overall for the day. After the first hot race of the year, she was just happy to finish. A difficult track provided a challenge, but nothing this seasoned racer couldn't handle.

Dan decided to jump into a new experience this weekend. He has been sweeping for years but opened his opportunities by sweeping at this TOR Race. He enjoyed the event and had a great time meeting a lot of new people. He noted that everyone he met was very friendly and easy to talk to. Dan even enjoyed watching and flagging for the pit bike race. He is also getting more comfortable with the new 2024 KTM 300XC.

Dan and Delilah plan to attend more TOR races this year, as both of them enjoy the challenge of going outside their comfort zone. Thanks again to the staff at the race for creating an easy-going and fun environment!

Introduction: Tech Tips Tuesdays!

Been a while since I posted in here. Last race Jaedan Morton decided to race Sportsman class in the morning. Track is way better, less competition for him equals more fun, every now and again. Took the holeshot, led the entire pack by so much on the first lap he got lost, turned around, and was still out front. Snapped his chain 3/4s through lap 1. Ohlins!

Throwing in a few test laps at the Jddams Racing compound on the new (to us) EVO Ohlins suspension on the 250. Finding our way but still need some more time. With our first race this weekend in South Carolina, and constant snow....that's a challenge. Thanks to Jeremy Kready of Evo for rushing this through and setting up a KILLER ride! Haha...so I think pit crew took the beating this week and racer kicked butt. Heading to GMER's dual sanctioned ECEA/D6 at Rocket Raceway. Started off picking up a rock in the trailer tire (yes, a rock!), had to bring in mamma reinforcements with a spare. Thanks to my parking neighbor Chris who donated a few plugs to the effort. Jd's bike failed to fire on the dead engine start leaving him in last place. Kid either starts first or last, no in between. Comes around FLYING and puts it up to sixth, where he stayed the remainder of the race. Given that Max Fernandez won his class by like an hour, I'm gonna look at this as a top five ECEA finish for JD and a very good run. Next race this weekend at Evansville!
