Lots going on over here at Bitsy McCann Music! There's honestly just so much to say, it's all going into one post.

1. Come see me Friday night!! I'll be playing a three hour solo set over on Railroad Avenue in Mechanicsburg for the Local-Motive Downtown Mechanicsburg Friday brewery/food/music nights. Get deets here: Bitsy on The Ave!

2. The featured photo here is me (obvi) with my wildly talented friend Dan, who I sometimes play with in Whiskey Ginger to cover my other wildly talented friend, Dave, when he can't make a gig with their duo. 3. Under much encouragement (and six months of very chill and low key harassment from my previously mentioned wildly talented friend, Dave), I joined a band this January. It's my first time being in a band for over a decade, and I am obsessed with this group. Both Dan and Dave are in this group as is my new friend, Andy, and my old friend, Mike. (And yes, you guessed it, Andy and Mike are also wildly talented.) You can find us on facebook at Traced in Air.

4. Traced in Air will have our FIRST GIG EVER on September 21st at 2pm outside Lounge 611 on Railroad Ave for one of their street festivals. Follow the band page for those deets!

5. Now for some mushy, gushy stuff. I can't even explain how incredibly fortunate I feel to be able to play my music out in public. To have people seeking me out to perform is such I wild thing that I am overwhelmingly grateful for. I can't really get over how lucky I feel to have found a band full of four humans who are talented, without ego, and just an absolute joy to create music with. (Thanks, Dave, for those months of harassment.)

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined for Floatin’ to the 4th on Railroad Ave! This was a great kickoff to our Wednesday night Food Truck events that will continue through the end of summer.
Join us next Wednesday the 10th, starting at 5:00 with Taco Shelly's. Then head over to the square for live music at 6:30pm
