Kicking off our FIRST Master Class of the season with Jojo Brooks. We are thrilled to have Jojo start of our Master Class Series this season with an Open Hip Hop Class. She’s only teaching once Long Island! So you don’t want to miss it.

Jawhar (Jojo) Brooks, 21, born and raised in New Jersey. Brooks’ dance journey started out with Guinea West African Dance with Zawadi School of African Dance at age 3. Soon after, Brooks fell into almost every other style of dance with Inspirational Dance. At the age of 16 is when she decided to join the NYC dance community in hopes to pursue her craft more seriously. She found herself at Brickhouse NYC, and has trained under Kelly Peters for around 5 years. She also has had the opportunity to train with Ryan Miller and Theresa Stone in the Find Your Life Intensive. Some accomplishments include Monsters of Hip Hop Alumni, Maybelline Vinyl Ink Global Commercial, Rauw Alejandro X Amazon Music Promo, Raising Kanan,  Live Radio Show, etc. She has also had the opportunity to teach at studios such as Modega, and Brickhouse. Brooks always prides herself as a student first as she tries to plant her feet in the industry.

We will be offering a back to dance special class rate for these classes ‼️Each class for just $15 each, open to all dancers! It’s a fantastic way to reconnect with dance and keep your skills sharp‼️
