A shout out to Scooby👻
As we were playing around taking photos in the garden the other day we couldn't resist doing a Scooby Doo chase scene reenactment 😆.
We clearly take ourselves sooo seriously 🤣. It was my daughter's ingenious idea... And I was happy to play along😉!
The only disagreement we had was on which theme song to pair it with. I prefer the old school version, but since it was her brain child, I went with her selection🤷.

We have talked about installing owl boxes on our property almost since we moved in... And the day has finally arrived!👏😁
We are excited to work with Glen at @prichtheowlguy to provide a lovely home in our back garden for some future feathered friends!
This is a barn owl box that Glen designed and manufactures right here in the Treasure Valley!
We have a strong interest in providing habitats for more wildlife in and around our property... But the voles and gophers have got to go😤😡! Fortunately... The main meal of choice for barn owls happens to be voles and gophers!!!
So... If you see a barn owl... Let them know we have a vacancy!😉

My daughter and I are in heaven filling our arms with these beauties💐.
Running a family flower farm is like that... Dreamy and romantic some days. While others are filled with mud, sweat, bugs, and tears😅.
Either way... I am grateful to have this girl at my side to share in the beautiful labor of it all.

My husband has been talking about getting sheep for years! ...and I have been saying "No" to getting sheep for that whole time.
Until... I heard about the dorper sheep breed. It is a special meat breed that grows hair instead of wool. This means no shearing, which would be less maintenance, and they are quick to mature for butchering, or breeding, if we choose😉.
We are excited about this new adventure! Yes... Even I am excited. We have always had a hankering for the homesteading lifestyle... And this definitely scratches that itch😅.
