Previews are in! Katrina & Kevin’s July wedding was everything 😌 starting, we’re told, with a 7am group trail run! This incredible couple surrounded themselves with the most amazing friends and family, and their deep love for each other and sincere kindness towards others (we’re talking handwritten notes at every place setting, people) was on display all day.

It's hard to believe, but this past weekend Sylvan Ridge Farm hosted our 💯th wedding! It's been such an honor to see so many knots tied here on our quiet mountainside. We're grateful to all of the incredible couples, vendors, and guests who make every event go around, and want to extend a special thank you to the beautiful people who keep the venue going behind the scenes--you know who you are! 🥂

September was a crazy month at SRF, with 5 weekend AND 3 weekday weddings! Marit & Isaiah got married on a glorious September Tuesday surrounded by such loving friends & family. They held their ceremony at their church off-site and then celebrated the night away at the farm, complete with a food truck that kept the food coming throughout the reception 🤩🤤

Huge thanks to for sending us these stunning images from Brittany & AJ’s October ‘22 wedding! I’ve been waiting until their anniversary weekend to post and it’s finally arrived. 🥰 We loved the table layout surrounding the dance floor, the subtle touches of greenery, the warm candlelight… this was such an all-around classy wedding for an all-around classy couple!

I don't know about you, but sending our wedding photos to our vendors wasn't exactly on the top of my post-nuptial to-do list. 😉 Now as a venue owner, I can attest that seeing couples’ galleries is an absolute thrill! And it’s never too late… we totally understand that things get lost in the shuffle, and sometimes months (or longer) go by before we’re pleasantly surprised a link in our inbox!

Ok I (Linnea) realize this post is a little off-brand, but... any other bird enthusiasts out there? No? Just me...? 🐦🤓

Well one of my favorite things to do when I have a peaceful moment at the farm is to record & ID birdsongs! This afternoon I spent 10 beautiful minutes sitting in the sunshine, waiting for a tour group & listening to the beautiful cacophony of these TWENTY-ONE different bird species! Didn't spot them all, but the goldfinches, house finches, orioles & chipping sparrows were all flitting around like mad, many carrying nesting materials 🪹🪺

Just one more thing to love about the farm! Shoutout to for the amazing Merlin Bird ID app.
