Attention to attendees at this year's Mid-America H.O.G. Rally - this will be the final post from the 2023 Rally by the Rivers. Thanks again for joining us, we look forward to seeing many of you again at H.O.G. events somewhere, sometime in the future. Fun facts from Ride Coordinator Joe - 874 riders traversed 3,618 miles of roads for a total of 139,366 miles ridden!! Add to that the unknown countless number of miles ridden on self-guided rides. Thanks to all for joining us!! See you all later for the Rally Parade and Closing Event/Party!!

Hope everyone is out riding and having fun on the middle day of the Rally by the Rivers. There are more great rides tomorrow, one of which is the Ladies First Ride. This is a great ride through some nice crooked back roads to a a local favorite restaurant for lunch before heading back on more of those nice back roads. On this ride, we honor all the Lady Riders by having them ride up front (hence Ladies First). The solo Lady Riders are followed by the 2 -ups, and the solo male riders bring up the rear. There is still room on this ride, so put this one on your To-Do-List! There is also room for a couple more on the Prison Ride tomorrow and we have about 20 more spots for the Popeye Ride! If you like crooked roads, any of these rides will satisfy!!! See you all tonight at the Street Party.

What's in store for Day 2 of the Rally? First of all, Ride Coordinator Joe has opened up some of todays rides - even if you did not sign up you can just show up for the following rides today:
Missouri Veteran Memorial departing at 7:40 AM
Life is Good Ride - departing at 8:10
Meramec Caverns - departing at 9:40
Don't forget to check your attendance prize tickets at St. Charles Harley Davidson and pick up the MO half of the Special Edition Puzzle Pin (remember 1 pin purchase per wrist band at each location). Have a great day and be sure to join us for the street party tonight in St. Charles at 2nd and Morgan Streets. There will be food, drinks and another great band tonight.

HOG RALLY RECAP - Day 1
200+ riders/passengers participated in 7 Guided Rides such as the Arch, Mark Twain home, The Great River Road and more. Untold numbers struck out on self-guided rides and the Scavenger Hunt. The first Stop the Bleed class was completed and numerous attendance prizes were claimed. New HD Demo rides were ridden, and eyebrows were raised in wonder at the death defying stunts inside the Wall of Death. The day concluded with awesome music provided by SUPERJAM. Hope everyone had a great Day 1, now, let's make Day 2 even better! More on Day 2 shortly!

Day 1 of the Guided Rides has just departed, still plenty of great rides ahead Friday and Saturday!
Just a reminder of all the action coming your way tonight at St. Charles Harley Davidson. 3 food trucks will be ready to serve starting at 5:00 PM. Superjam kicks off with live music from the Classic Rock Era at 6:00 PM, and the Official Rally Opening Event will be at approximately 7:00 PM. Come on out for great food, cold beverages and awesome music!
Remember to stop in the dealership to check the attendance prize board. See you all tonight!

The weather forecast during the rally looks AMAZING! That rain you see for Sunday is expected to occur overnight, ending around 6:00 AM Sunday morning. Pack some sunscreen, ride safe and hydrate! Woo Hoo!!!!!

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Shuttle transportation will be provided from the hotels with which rooms were blocked for the Rally. The shuttles will be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at the hotels at 5:00 PM and running continuous loops until 11:00 PM to and from each of the evening events. Each hotel is assigned a color code for the route per the info shown here. This info will also be available at the hotels and at check-in. FYI, Uber and Lyft are also very active in the area. It's almost time to Rally by the Rivers!!

Based on some recent questions, we wanted to provide some clarifying points to everyone.
1. Regardless of the Registration Package you purchased, Orange or Black, everyone will receive the same Orange Wrist Band at check-in to identify you as a registered rally attendee.
2. The Special Edition Rally Puzzle Pin will only be sold to those wearing an Orange Rally Wristband, and each person may only purchase 1 pin at each location to complete the set. These are limited supply, so no multiple purchases will be allowed.
3. We've had some questions about road construction, and yes there are several major projects underway in our area. I'm sure many of you will encounter construction on the way here as well. We are aware of the projects and have planned accordingly to avoid these as much as possible on the rides. Having said that we would still remind everyone to use caution when traveling and remember it is ORANGE CONE SEASON.

One week from tonight will be our last night together at the Rally by the Rivers. We plan to finish strong with a great evening as we Party by the River at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse Museum in St. Charles. This event is for registered HOG members only and Orange Wrist bands will be checked. There will be food trucks and beverages on site. Prizes will be awarded for the Scavenger Hunt, Biker Bingo and Pot of Gold. The much sought after Rally Knife raffle will also be held this night. Live music will be provided by Whiskey Morning Band. WMB brings a rocking country edge, playing classic, 90's and current country, as well as classic rock tunes with their patented country edge! We hope you will all leave this closing event with fond memories of the 2023 Mid-America Hog Rally and that your time at the Rally by the Rivers will be a Rally to Remember!

The City of St. Charles has been an incredible partner preparing for and organizing the Mid-America HOG Rally, the Rally by the Rivers. The city will be graciously hosting a Street Party in the French Town District in St. Charles. There will be food trucks, beverages and live music. For those who decide to skip the shuttle and ride your bikes to this event, we will have dedicated bike parking for Rally registrants only (Orange Wrist bands will be checked) This event is the only evening event at the Rally that will be open to the public as well. The band for the evening is Wrath of Khan. This band is a Raw Guitar driven Classic Rock trio featuring classic rock favorites throughout the years. See you all next Friday night!!

If you have been following the Rally FB page, you have likely seen separate posts regarding some of the special things that will be available to registered Rally attendees.
Here is just a quick reminder of some of what's in store for all the folks wearing the Orange Wrist Bands.
One-of-a- kind Dealer Puzzle pin. The Missouri half is only available at St. Charles Harley Davidson and the Illinois half is only available at Green Mount Road Harley Davidson in O'fallon, IL. Available at special pricing while supplies last during the Rally.
Passengers (per the signed waivers) will receive a pair of glasses at check-in while supplies last.
Rally do-rag, complements of the St. Charles Convention Bureau available at check-in while supplies last.
Saturday morning pancake and sausage breakfast complements of St. Charles Harley Davidson (at the dealership). Be sure to sign up for this at the Events table at check-in so we can be sure to have enough for everyone.
Scavenger Hunt and Biker Bingo - pick up your play sheets and rules at the Events table at check-in. Prizes for each to be awarded Saturday night - must be present to win.
Pot of Gold - be sure to ask at check-in how to participate for the prizes to be awarded on Saturday night. - Must be present to win.

And don't forget all the awesome rides and events!
