I don’t know what it means, but I have ended up at our cabin nearly every full moon for the past 6 months or so. This place really helps us decompress and relax. And this visit, for the first time ever, we could switch on a light when darkness took its hold.

We walked through the forest to get to the beach. Streams meandering through the bluffs cut under paths built from wood and stone. All the water that finds the streams flows into Lake Michigan right here, where these cool kids are walking. Can’t wait to photograph you two tomorrow!

Cabins give you the chance to slow down, to be intentional. If you give yourself over to the experience, you leave feeling rejuvenated. And man, this shoot relaxed the hell out of us. We always remember the sunsets we get to watch together.
