That’s a wrap for our summer 2024 season! Historical rainfall from Tropical Storm Debby took out our current blooms, and drowned our next round of plant babies. We received around 20” of rainfall this week with more to come this weekend. We have started seeds indoors all week for a final crop of fall flowers, but will be taking a break from farmers markets and website orders until they bloom in Octoberish 💐🍁🌻 Hurricane season is always a contender when flower farming in the Lowcountry, and this is the first tropical event to wipe out our crops in the 5 seasons we’ve been growing flowers.
