You probably know Elizabeth (Beth). Sheâs the original Flower Peddler. She bought her own mini farm in Holly Hill, South Carolina in 2007. Since then sheâs been planting, pruning, and peddling her flowers all over the Charleston area.
Youâve probably seen her at the Summerville Farmerâs Market; sheâs been a regular there for 5 years. She is happiest in her garden with her hands in the dirt and her dogs by her side. She is not computer savvy.
Thatâs where I come in...
Iâm Heather, Bethâs daughter.
While Beth did all that hard work, I was busy raising babies. Theyâre older now, and I want to help out. This means branching out.
The Flower Peddler is growing!
Maybe youâve already noticed more Facebook posts and Instagram pics (no? be sure to follow us!).
We have had great success with our cool season planting- a first for us! Which means Iâve been setting up each week at the Winter Market in the warehouse of Coastal Coffee Roasters in downtown Summerville. We have partnered with Maxie Stone, a local grower, to bring indoor plants along with our flowers.
Looking ahead, youâll still find us at the Summerville Farmerâs Market on Saturdays (8-1), starting April 11th, selling artfully arranged bouquets and flowers by the stem.
And you can still work with us one-on-one to help plan your events (including weddings). Locally grown flowers are a special addition to any gathering- big or small!
Now you can also have our colorful, market style arrangements delivered anywhere in the Summerville area. AND, we are working on a subscription service for weekly arrangement delivery for home or office. Very exciting!
Looking further ahead, we are still working on getting a website up and running to make ordering online quick and easy. Until then, you can message us here on Facebook to order.
So, thatâs what is going on with us⌠let us know what you think.
Canât wait to see you all again soon!
