I’m so excited to share this post. This location in Iceland has been one of my top locations to shoot at in the world. I just love the dark black basaltic rock and the fact that you can have a couple stand on them and get a cliff shot.

Pro Tip: make sure you hire a photographer that uses multiple lenses. So often we see photographers shoot entire weddings with just one lens. It works but is a lazy approach and you’re missing out. This post shows 2 photos taken at the same time with different lenses. My second shooter got the first one with a 28mm wide lens which shows the scene and makes the mountains look small. I love this shot. Then you pair it with my take using a 85mm lens. This makes the mountains look larger and closer. Both photos are great and work but it shows how fun it is to have multiple looks.
