The Alex Key show at Langtree tonight has been postponed to Thursday September 5th due to this unpredictable, but currently nasty looking, weather.

So.. Nick and Tommy (and the Waves crew) are going to go fill in for a cancelation at 158 Main in Downtown Mooresville tonight from 7-10p. Come watch Nick and Tommy perform and hang with the crew!

I'm working on putting together a 2 - 3 day Country Music Fest in Mooresville the first weekend of May next year. Who all would be interested in having something like that? Year 1 would be great acts but we're not likely to be able to plug any big names just yet. If the event is a success, we'll grow it every year to have a hybrid of bigger names and still support our locals! Thoughts?

Battle of the Bands - Rock The Lot hosted by Ghostface Brewing was phenomenal last Sunday! Waves brought out two stages and the equipment to build the battle ground! Shout out to all eight bands that came out to play: Stratosphere, Lex Vegas & Henry Killian, Parallel Lives, Breaking Point, B.O.M.B. Co., Fortune 5, Mojo Band, and Groove Skeletons. Also, a very grateful thank you to the judges who decided the top 4 winners! (Pictured 2nd slide.) Not to mention the sponsors who made this event and the winners' prizes possible: Ghostface Brewing, Lake Norman Patio Game Rooms, and Serenity Now Massage Therapy.

‼️ Update: All spots have been filled. If we've been talking about the event in messages, keep talking to me. I have to cut this off as I've received dozens of inquiries and they're still pouring in. This is great!! But I'm sure we have all of our contestants covered within the groups I'm currently speaking with.

Hey all. We're looking for 1 more band to join the Battle of the Bands at GhostFace Beer Lab this Sunday from 4p - 8p. We've had a couple drop outs and/or complications with groups. Good news though, there's an opening!

$800 first place, $400 second place, $200 gift card to Ghost Face for the rest of the participants.

There will be 2 stages, full sound system for each, and should be a fun day! PM me if interested.

We had an action packed week at Waves Entertainment! Last Thursday, The Hwy rocked the stage at LangTree. Friday, The Goodnight Brothers Band brought the party to 2nd Friday Street Festival while Dustbowl Revival filled Cain Center for the Arts with the sound of American Roots music and Dukes & Smith brought Birkdale Village to life at Live Under The Oaks. Saturday, we were at Crusin' for Courage car show and barbecue there was a successful fundraiser for the U.S. Marshall and CMPD officers.
