U.S. and Canadian Top Ten Reining PRAIRIE CESSNA is a preservation bred in**ed *RAFFLES stallion with 39 lines to him. He traces to 14 different *RAFFLES offspring, all of them National winner producers or parents of National winner producers. Such a high coefficient of inbreeding has produced a stallion of sound conformation and excellent bone who has obvious athletic talent. He would be an ideal outcross sire for mares needing bone, better legs, shorter backs, hind end strength and athletic talent. His quality is no accident as he represents the breeding programs of the Munson family of Shalimar Ranch, many of whose horses were used as working ranch horses. The Shalimar lines are also noted for producing excellent endurance horses, as the noted Rushcreek Ranch endurance breeding program has used several Shalimar stallions including PRAIRIE CESSNA's sire SHALIMAR CARIBOU, SHALIMAR PIMA and SHALIMAR RHETT, all of whom sired multiple horses with over 1000 ride miles.
