we are six months into 2021… how?! 🙈 when starting Flower Walls Nashville almost a year ago, I had no idea what was going to come of it. After being laid off in the music business, due to our favorite word, I took a chance on something that I thought Nashville was missing. I’ve made lots of mistakes, have had long nights and lots of, “why the hell am I doing this?” I started back full time in the music business, with an incredible opportunity and true dream job, back in March. 🤍 I once again, was met with, do I shut this down or do I pivot? I told myself I couldn’t do this anymore, everyday for almost a month, with no real reason other than what I was telling myself. I talked myself out of it, then back in about 50 times. After some long talks with God, Joe and close friends… I found this quote and I’ve stared at it, read it and processed it for weeks. I’m a big “mind over matter” person and live by “what you tell yourself you believe”. So…. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m choosing to grow. I’m choosing to do both, with balance. I’m choosing to ask for help (which I suck at). I’m choosing to become what I want, by moving into the unknown. I’m becoming. Slowly and surely. And that’s enough for me. 💖🌷✨🌷💖

2021 flew by as fast as this reel will… To every customer, friend, vendor, new acquaintance, referral, event planner and my free labor, my husband, I can’t thank each of you enough for supporting Flower Walls Nashville over the last 18 months. What most don’t know is that I started this company as a side hustle,after I was laid off from the music industry at the start of the pandemic. I had no idea what was to come, including starting a full time job in music, back in March. By August, I was overwhelmed and Flower Walls Nashville, took a backseat. (Hence, my lack of posting here over the last few months.) I was struggling knowing how I was going to enter 2022 and if I’d be able to keep this going. I kept going back to my favorite quote by @glennondoyle… “We can do hard things.” I love this company and I love the impact it’s made on this community. I’m so grateful for the incredible women in my life, many who own their own businesses, who have stood by and given me guidance, support and friendship, to help me navigate to do both.
