WTF is New Nashville Live?

Nashville is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. No longer is its music scene only dominated by h***y tonks and steel guitars, but now by artists like Jack White, Kings of Leon, and the Black Keys. In the shadow of the country music empire, a “New Nashville” has been cultivating, and is now demanding its share of the music city spotlight.

New Nashville Live began as a passion project for artist Jamie Kent, bringing together some of his favorite bands once a year for a big show on a riverboat in Austin.

As the response got bigger and bigger, and the shows better and better, Kent began realizing the artists of this “New Nashville” deserved a much bigger stage. “The world is watching Nashville right now and wants to know what’s happening here beyond the country stars and classic h***y tonk bars. So I thought, why not bring this New Nashville to them?” Said Kent.
