If you are strolling or driving to and from Wurstfest during the festival please be aware of this notice from the City Of New Braunfels - Government regarding Landa Street.
Wurstfest Traffic Notice
The westbound lane of Landa Street will be closed to vehicular traffic but open to pedestrian traffic during Wurstfest from Zink St. to Landa Park Dr. due to TxDOT’s closure of the sidewalk. This will close one lane on Landa Street under the railroad overpass.
The sidewalk next to this lane has been closed by TxDOT because the retaining wall is leaning, and it is unsafe for pedestrians to walk near it. To accommodate pedestrian traffic to and from Wurstfest in a safe manner, the City will close the westbound lane to vehicular traffic so that it can be used for foot traffic. The schedule for closures is:

Wurstfest is now hiring festival employees for bar sales, ticket sales, security officers and event maintenance. Applications are available at www.wurstfest.com or the Wurstfest Office in Landa Park behind Circle Arts Theatre.

Wurstfest President Randy Rust and his Oma Kay officially cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of our rebuilt Marketplatz. It should serve our community well for years to come.
You can find 2021 Grosse Opa Wayne Classen handing out his limited edition buttons and good cheer to all.
Look for his blue feather bouncing through the crowd. He has a button just for you!
