Dear Parents/Students of Marching Band,

Students marching in the parade tomorrow are NO LONGER wearing the full marching band uniform. Please wear sneakers, shorts, a blue Wagner t-shirt and a baseball type hat. Please meet at Wagner by 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM departure time from Wagner.

Students performing for the game (rookies) should wear the same thing, but are meeting at Wagner at 12:00 PM.

BOTH GROUPS REMEMBER TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, WEAR SUNSCREEN AND EAT BREAKFAST!!!!

Those in Marching Band, PLEASE DRESS WARM!! Wear many layers, hats, gloves, anything you need to be warm!! It's going to be very cold

You can wear all of your hats/gloves/ etc... Right up until we step of & if your hands need it, you can keep the gloves on the whole time

Scarves and/ or ear muffs can be worn the whole time too, if needed. Your health is the most important thing today!!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS IN MARCHING BAND!!!

We are playing for the Boys Basketball playoff game tomorrow at 5:00 PM!!! Students in Marching Band need to be in the band room by 4:30PM wearing a white/blue band t-shirt/sweatshirt/polo shirt etc.

Symphonic Band members are excused from this event due to a prior rehearsal that is scheduled with Mr. Corn!

All students in Marching Band are required to perform for the Girls Varsity Basketball game on February 2nd, 2016 which is TOMORROW NIGHT! Students need to be in the band room by 5:30 PM for a 6:00PM performance!! Students must wear any Wagner white/blue band t-shirt, sweatshirt or polo shirt!!

As a reminder, there is no 0 period classes tomorrow. The first day of Marching Band for the 2nd term is on February 3rd, 2016!!

The event today is located at 1639 Richmond Rd, Staten Island NY, 10304 (Corner of Richmond Rd and Four Corners Rd) Students should meet at 1:30PM in Full Uniform. This performance will begin at 2:00PM and should be over by 2:30PM.

ONLY STUDENTS WHO HANDED IN THE PERMISSION FORM ON FRIDAY MAY ATTEND THIS EVENT.

STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO HAND IN THE FORM TODAY AT THE EVENT.

The Marching Band will be performing at Tappen Park on Bay Street and Water Street this Saturday on October 24th, 2015. Students must be at the event at 11:30 AM in full uniform!!! This event should start around 12:00! Please have the attached permission form signed by your parent/guardian and hand it in to Mr. Cipollo by Tuesday October 20th!

The band parents will have such delicious food available on Saturday at Wagner before the homecoming game in the cafeteria at 10:30 AM! This event is 10 dollars per person or 8 dollars with a student id.

Applications for the Exploring the Arts Apprenticeship Program are now available!!! (Attachments were sent through pupilpath!) This apprenticeship program is available to all current juniors and seniors and is a wonderful opportunity (it is a PAID internship).

The application is due NO LATER THAN October 7th, 2015. Early submissions are encouraged!!!

Rookie students (new members) will be performing for the football game at Wagner also on Saturday!

This is a reminder that Wagner Marching Band Camp will be held on Tuesday September 1st, Wednesday September 2nd and Thursday September 3rd at Susan Wagner High School in room 122 from 10 AM until 2PM. Students should bring a mouthpiece, water, sunscreen and sneakers for the practices held at Wagner High School. Packing a lunch is also suggested.

Florida Trip Reminders-

ALL luggage must be brought in to Wagner at the beginning of their day on Feb 11 to room 125 for storage.

Students must pack the SMALLEST bag possible for their clothes. We will not have enough room on the busses for large bags. If students have large luggage, they may have to use plastic bags for their belongings. NOBODY wants this, so please pack responsibly.

No glass bottles or home made foods are permitted for the trip. Please bring plastic bottles and pre-packaged food if you plan to bring anything.

ALL baggage and instruments will be checked at 2:30 in the auditorium before boarding the bus. Please report to the auditorium IMMEDIATELY after your school day ends (if you are free 8th period, please report to the auditorium after 7th period). It takes a LONG time to check through 150 students bags, instruments, garment bags. PLEASE BE ON TIME!

All students must bring all of their performance attire (concert dress) for each ensemble- DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU HAVE ALL ITEMS! A reminder to wear APPROPRIATE attire, dress conservatively and professionally please!

All students are required to display appropriate behavior at all times. Remember that there is a time and place for all behavior- this trip is the time for the BEST behavior and representation of our program and families.
