Ava met David Bowie in New York City while he was touring for “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”.⚡️ It began with a period of personal and artistic collaboration that heavily influenced the “Young Americans” ‘blue-eyed soul’ era of Bowie. Following this, Ava went on to create an incredible solo career that included performances as a background singer for music icons such as Luther Vandross and Chaka Khan.
