Since 2010, The M**f Cave has provided touring bands a place to play, a place to stay, and a place to enjoy New York City. Operated as a not for profit DIY space, many memorable parties have brought together an entire commuity. It has been used to raise money for Japan after the devastating tsunami, it has been used to raise money for medical emergencies, raised money for gas for touring bands whi
le saving them money by offering them a place to crash, and it has been a place that has welcomed so many. Recently, hard economic times has caused the bills to fall behind. At the last party, the guitar amp got blown out, the PA got blown out, and finances stopped coming in. In an effort to save this vital piece of NYC, a series of fundraisers are being set up to help save it from being lost forever.
