Exploring the true(ish) story of John Wesley Powell and his accompanying crew’s 1869 exploration of the Colorado River and Grand Canyon, Backhaus’ play is based on the published diary of Powell, who recorded his team’s adventures.

Know of a current undergraduate student at ISU looking for a great part-time job opportunity? Have them fill out an application for the CPA Box Office! We have a set schedule during the week and try to have the events for the semester scheduled within the first couple weeks of class to accommodate class and personal schedules.

Must be self-motivated, good with technology, experience with a ticketing system a plus, and have great customer service skills!

We've been hard at work in the box office preparing for the opening of the 45th Season of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival! Get your tickets for next week's opening! But also note, the box office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.

And just like that, another semester comes to a close for the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts. Congrats to all those students that graduate next week and to all the students whose work we celebrated this semester.

Beginning next week, the box office will switch to our summer hours for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. We will be open Monday-Friday, Noon-4pm with additional hours at Ewing Cultural Center once performances begin in June.
