I am a CBA Certified Balloon Artist.
I took the test in Portland, OR in 1997.
It was not an easy test you had to take several written test before you could do the in person exam. You had to create your own balloon bouquet with creativity and flare, and had to do a mock balloon delivery.

A great company so sad to see this happen.

As many of you know, Continental American Corporation d/b/a Pioneer Balloon filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in September of 2023. Since the filing, the company has made efforts to reorganize, and those efforts resulted in a sale of the assets of the company to White Oak Commercial Finance.

White Oak has created a new company Pioneer Blue Balloon LLC to operate the business going forward. White Oak has appointed Aurora Management Partners to manage Pioneer Blue Balloon through its Managing Partner, David M Baker as Chief Executive Officer, Bill McCarthy as President, and Ben Pendleton as Chief Operating Officer.

Pioneer Blue Balloon is excited to continue to offer the Funsational products Pioneer Balloon historically offered, as well as the Cloudbuster line. Please contact your Qualatex distributors to help you secure any of the remaining Qualatex inventory that you would like to purchase.

I have tried so many times to post this “Officially” post. I announced at the Economic Forum I was looking for the right person.
Many of you know I have been trying to manage my cancer and my health.
Unfortunately I’m not winning this fight and it has taken its toll on my health.
I want to enjoy what time I have still do what I love but do it differently and not here I will be moving.
Petal to the Metal Flowers is for sale yes the rumors are true.
I can know longer be a business owner and work like I use to it has taken its toll on my health and I need to sell as soon as possible for health reasons.
10 years I’ve been serving this amazing community I love so much.
Business only I don’t own the space the price is basically for the inventory key turn ready for the right person who knows the Floral industry.
If you have dream of wanting to own your own flower business I’m giving you a perfect opportunity to step in due to my health.

Another one of my favorites comes in many colors I like the orange and pink

Anigozanthos are famed for their long, slender fuzzy flowers that resemble kangaroo paws. Their unique shape, along with its native homeland of Western Australia, are the inspirations behind the common names kangaroo paw, tall kangaroo paw, cat’s paw and Australian sword lily. The grainy hairs growing around kangaroo paw flowers + stalks along with weather conditions (the cooler the more intense the hue) determine their ultimate color. Because of their novel shape, kangaroo paws are used to symbolize uniqueness & individuality. 🦘🩷🦘

I love these Yummy

On the rise: Banksia full of ☀️-SHINE! Attenuata, candlestick or slender banksia, these picks had us at yellow. With candle-like blooms (6 to 8”) on long, straight stems, narrow serrated leaves and a fragrant that is just like a fine Shiraz wine. 🌿🌼🌼🌼🌿

I love Protea’s this variety I enjoy using fresh or dried.

Banksia ashbyi or also called Ashby’s banksia. What appears to be one large, showy cylindrical-like flower is a solid cluster of 1000+ single blooms. Ashbyi’s eye-catching orange hue adds drama and vibrance in the field or garden, and extraordinary texture to floral designs. 🍃🧡🌿

Banksia Care Tips:
Keep cool when possible.
Strip leaves from the bottom half of each stem.
Re-cut at least 1/2” off each stem and place in cold water.
Never bash or split stems.
Replace vase water every day as Banksia are thirsty flowers.
Never mist banksia as this could cause black marks to appear.
