OK OK OK already. Maybe I'll try to get Manitou Regiment reborn for 2019 Vintage Band Festival August 1-4. Looking for great brass players in driving distance of Northfield. Do I know you yet?

Hmmmm- Manitou Regimental Band is still getting visitors to the site. I'll review the brass talent pool in the area and see if we can muster a brass band again.

Hmmm. I am getting notices recently that folks are visiting this page quiet a bit. Right now the band is not operating. But maybe we need to see if it can be revived in the future.

Well, that's about it. The 150th Commemoration of the Civil War is about over, so the Manitou Regimental Brass Band is now decommissioned, uniforms turned in, discharge papers issued. Any future formation of this band may be under the guise of a "veterans" group, organized by the Vintage Band Festival. Thanks for your interest. Paul Niemisto, Bandmaster.

MRBB is playing for the re-enactment of the return of Minnesota troops to Fort Snelling at the end of the Civil War. August 15- Saturday, at the fort.
