📦🎄 **Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party - November 1st** 🎄📦

Join us for a special packing party at the Gathering Place on November 1st from 4-7 PM! This year, we’re trying something different. The Mission team will provide shoebox items in bulk, and we ask that you bring a WOW gift and toys to enhance the boxes.

We have over 250 shoeboxes ready to be filled, and with many hands, we can make this a wonderful event! To add to the festive spirit, feel free to bring along Christmas cookies for everyone to enjoy.

Our goal this year is to pack a total of 300 shoeboxes. You’re encouraged to bring additional shoebox items to the party, and any donations will go toward purchasing more items. You’re also welcome to pack your own shoeboxes if you prefer.

Please note that the shoebox collection and blessing day will be on November 17th. If you need suggestions for shoebox items, packing lists are available in the HUB.

🗣️ **Tame the Tongue: Insights from James 3:1-12** 🗣️

In James 3:1-12, we are reminded of the power of our words and the importance of using them wisely. The passage highlights that while the tongue is a small part of the body, it can have a significant impact—both positive and negative.

James emphasizes that our words can create great good or cause immense harm. 🌟 **Lighthouse CPC GriefShare Classes** 🌟

If you're experiencing feelings of anger, regret, or confusion due to grief, know that you're not alone. Finding support is essential during this time.

Lighthouse CPC is offering two separate GriefShare classes, a 13-week community ministry program designed for those grieving the death of a loved one. The program includes weekly topics and videos, a private workbook, and experienced facilitators. We have both daytime and evening classes to accommodate different schedules.
