I was up at this past weekend scouting out the site with a 2025 couple and was transported back to my very first wedding up there. Nancy and Rob were way ahead of the curve with their bohemian inspired wedding weekend. We're talking pampas grass, mandalas, aerial installations, various entertainment options, and family style dining which created a beautiful retreat style wedding weekend with incredible views. 🏔️​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Nancy and Rob had a unique love story that they weren't afraid of illustrating through their wedding. Their love for nature and each other was infectious and a wedding I'll never forget. 💕

When should you send out wedding invitations if you're having a destination wedding? ✈️ 💒​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Couples planning a destination wedding typically send out invitations earlier due to the additional logistics guests need to arrange, such as travel and accommodation.

It's common to send invitations 3 to 6 months in advance of the wedding date. However, that's assuming guests have received some form of a save-the-date notice around 12 months before the wedding. 💌

Save-the-date notices should include the date and location of the wedding at the very least. Sharing a wedding website on a save-the-date is even better. This allows guests to periodically check for wedding updates including travel information like room blocks.

Giving your guests ample time to schedule time off, book their travel, and plan for the trip is courteous. 💕

Bonus tip: remember to consider your RSVP; you'll want to give yourself enough time to finalize the headcount for your vendors. I like having that final number 30 days out. 📋
