Rainbow spider monster mask!
I painted this on Mother’s Day weekend, but it is so perfect for spooky season. I can’t always take off-menu requests, but outcomes like THIS are the reason I love to do so when I can!

This is one of my favorites from last October.
I am not a fan of painting all black cats, and I will always try to talk anyone into something with a bit of color, but my own daughter is not always swayed. I was pretty pleased with how this one turned out though, and I also got to paint my bonus child as a “lovely witch.”

My new friend BeeVee! She is a sweet girl who loves her green hay, plays peekaboo, and gives tickley little love nips. She is good about getting brushed, especially when there are treats involved, and she is somehow even softer than she looks. 🥰

For all of my locals in the MOV!
Come see this HUGE yard sale at Fairlawn Baptist Church tomorrow! You will find everything from housewares to children’s and baby clothes, toys, toddler beds, kitchen items, all manner of things. We are bringing our best!

This is a fundraiser for our teens going on a mission trip to Spain in the spring, to learn about and participate in evangelism, and put on an English VBS with a church local to the area they’ll be visiting. We want everyone to go who wants to go, so let’s get them on their way!

Let's Talk Food Trucks. Once again, The Bodega will be here serving their excellent drinks and snacks, but we are also excited to announce that The Munchies Truck will be here too.

Blessing report! So many positive changes this week:
My kids started “regular” school and they are thriving.
That means there’s a new routine for mom, too! The peaceful days are exactly what I have needed.
I have been working on our home pretty hardcore, and today the kids will move into their new bedroom!
The next step will be clearing out another room to prep. We have got rid of SO much stuff and it feels amazing!

Today I’ll be moving beds and clothes in, and hopefully I’ll find time to make some custom glitter creams to use at the K9 Carnival.

Join us for our first annual K9 Carnival to benefit Ciara’s Grace Fund: A fund dedicated to helping needy and homeless pets in our community.

Division Street Band will be joining us, as well as several food trucks! Come on down and get some lunch and enjoy great music.

Will be providing a variety of food options!

Games, giveaways, and vendors will be focused on the pups, but a bounce house and Happy Face Paints will be entertaining the kids, too!

Let your pup have some fun by joining one or both of our dog contests! At 12:30 we will be hosting our costume/talent contest, and our pie-eating contest will proceed at 2!

Just in case you’re searching for a new forever family member, local shelters will be bringing their adoptable foster pups for everyone to meet and have a bit of fun!🐾

This great event is a fundraiser for Ciara’s Grace, a nonprofit that gives aid to homeless pets.

Yesterday was the first day of school EVER for this rowdy brood!
They did very well and all seem to be looking forward to another school day today.

The bigger two are doing the ASL sign for Jesus, and our littlest is showing her heart for you. 🥰

If there is a word for the one last tattered flower a plant makes as it fades back into the ground for winter, that word describes how I feel today.

After a fair last weekend, a week of paperwork, errands, school shopping, and big changes on the horizon, one more event yesterday, and a to-do list staring me down at home, I can not wait to bring my weary self to my Lord Jesus today to worship and love Him.

I’m getting all the fall feels lately, and Sunday evening seemed like a good time to bust out my knitting 🧶 needles and this incredible alpaca fluff, and work on this small shawl/big scarf while I had a little time for it.

A big shoutout to the Pleasants County Agricultural Youth Fair board for sponsoring me over the weekend! It was my first time at your fair. I loved the safe and kid-centric atmosphere, and the sense of small town community.
The musical acts were top-notch, too!
