She started out in a local "mommy and me" program in Warwick, NY. Soon after, she had the privilege to study with the inspirational Theresa Gao for over 10 years. Hemangi was an active member in her grade school orchestras and pit orchestras, and continued to be throughout her high school years. While in high school, she formed a string quartet called ‘Synergy 4’. As the lead violinist in the quar
tet, she was able to travel to and perform at numerous weddings and various other occasions. From 1996-2007, Hemangi was a member of each O.C.M.E.A. orchestra and served as Concert Master for 2 years in 2005 and her final year in 2007. In addition to county orchestras, Hemangi was selected for 4 years to participate in the Area-All State orchestra at a highly competitive level. Summer Music Institute, where she had the honor of sitting concertmaster. While attending Binghamton University, she was honored to be accepted into the University’s Symphony Orchestra. Hemangi had the pleasure to be featured alongside the orchestra with the world-famous Paul Taylor Dance Company. Throughout her years at college, she taught violin to local elementary school students. In 2011, Hemangi graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Integrative Neuroscience. In 2018, Hemangi graduated from Creighton University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Currently, she lives in Peachtree Corners, GA and works part time as a local private violin instructor.
