I have several business dreams, and visiting LizzyGator near Dallas, TX really drove home one of those dreams. The team at LizzyGator Event Venue has really brought their own whimsical world to life with handmade creations, vintage decor, and unique artwork.

I was so privileged to be able to tour the entire venue as well as have my daughter styled by Lizzy for a quick photoshoot. I have so many photos to share, but picking one at a time. Just wait till you see the pirate outfits!

I used to have a closet full of outfits for photoshoots, and one day I'd like to have a collection again. I'd also love to build my own wedding venue to my specs. That's the big goal... one day, one day!

I traveled from Central Florida to Dallas for the eclipse, since I was in the area I knew I HAD to go see LizzyGator. I had first seen photos of Lizzy Gator on Offbeat Wed's blog and was immediately drawn to the “Tim Burton” feel of the chapel. I texted my friend, Pink Hair Jen from Weirdo Weddings, who has done several shoots there, and plans were made. Not only did I get to tour the whole venue, I got to meet Lizzy herself AND we put together a couple outfits with her and my teen and did a photoshoot on the property! My experience was absolutely wonderful.

If you are a unique soul who loves maximalism, vintage mixed with industrial, creativity, imaginative, steam punk, and/or rustic chic you are going to LOVE this venue. It has a little bit of everything and you can feel the love put into every aspect of the property.

Not only is the property something to be cherished, Lizzy herself is such an angel. The kindest soul, who really cares deeply. I can guarantee you will be in good hands while visiting the venue. More photos to come!
