At Genna Rose, I am a one woman team. I started planning and dreaming of my own wedding at the age of 10. Since then, I became wedding obsessed making it apart of my every day language. This is when I realized that the only way to work is to work doing something you love. I am wedding planning and design certified by Lovegivity wedding institution. As a certified wedding planner it is my job to plan and/or design your dream wedding. I am a planner. But no matter how much I plan, no matter how detailed I am, I couldn’t have planned for the events that have transformed for the last year including yesterday. I’m sad for the state of the world. Not our country but our whole world.

Yet I still am so optimistic and my meditation and mindfulness business brings out in me my belief in the yin/ yang.

PERSONAL TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ Just before writing this post, I saw a post of someone supporting Trump and talking Ill of Biden, What upset me and caused me to write the post i’m writing now, is In his post he wrote I quote “a vote for Biden is a vote for china”.

That is the problem with the world SEPARATION! There is no separation. There should be no divide. It’s comments like this that caused the holocaust, racism, prejudice and hatred of others. I will not stand for hatred of any kind for any race, any gender, any religion, any country, any culture.

We must all support each other, love each other and learn to value each other’s differences!! We must learn to look at one another’s skins, religions, behaviors, genders and NOT LOOK AWAY!! and say “hey, I am the opposite of you, I look nothing like you, I don’t believe what you believe, I don’t see the world as you see it! But I see you and you are beautiful, I LOVE YOU for the differences that you are that I don’t see in myself! I love you, I support you and I honor you, for we all are one soul in many bodies namaste”.

I am one day late, because I didn’t know until this morning when i saw one of my Bestfriend .theofanopoulos made a post last night about . But any who, better late then never! Happy national coming out day to all lovers all across the world!! I am so proud of all LBGT individuals who had the bravery to come out when you did. In my perspective in today’s world it’s easier then past generations to come out of the closet but I know the fear is still there. I am so proud of all those who were courageous, brave, secure and maybe even scared that came out to your friends and family! I celebrate all of you today! Please know that I personally and my business supports, loves and celebrates all LBGT couples, along with all races, cultures, ethnicities. This world needs more love, more support, and more encouragement! And that’s what I personally and my business stand for. I am here to spread more love! More hope! More support. That everyone that books with me, is friends with me and supports me, knows that there is no room in my personal and professional life for hate or discrimination. It is my belief we are all one soul in many bodies having a temporary soul experience! It is my belief that our soul is both masculine and feminine energy and only our bodies have gender. I love weddings!!! Can you tell!? What I love more then weddings is simply love!!! Quick story time. Right before COVID hit, I was living in China, teaching English. On this day, CHRISTMAS EVE, December 24th 2019 my friend Whitney asked me to do a Christmas photo shoot with her. I of course said yes!! To my surprise after the Christmas shoot, the photographer asked us to do a wedding shoot 😍 I said yes faster then a person getting proposed too. I had never been in a wedding dress! I was so beyond happy in this photo shoot. It was this moment I set the intention and decided that when I returned from China and came back to America I would restarting my wedding planning business in Pennsylvania, that I had started in 2016 in Michigan and put on the back burner while i traveled. Little did I know one month later after leaving China and traveling through Africa, COVID would hit, Forcing me back home to America. Where my intention and promise to restart Genna Rose Wedding Planning and Design would be manifested into reality. Even with Covid I had a successful year! Thanks to all couples who booked me this year and have me booked next year. It’s because of you! I get to pursue my passion and do what I love, LOVE for an income!!

This is the first weekend I havnt had a wedding since August, but the fun doesn’t stop. Taking advantage of weekend away from Pennsylvania and spending time with family in Michigan, plus a meeting with a new wedding couple this afternoon here in Michigan. And of course I can’t forget, 1 week, 7 days until this beautiful couple ties the knot!! Busy week ahead in coordinating Patricia and Tyler’s Big day 10/10/2020.
