A list of things that went wrong at a wedding, and how I was able to fix them without the couple ever knowing:

• not one, not two but three groomsmen ripped the buttons off their jackets that I was able to sew back on for them

• best man left the rings at the hotel, but I had their room key and drove separately so I was able to run back in time to grab them

• rental company was short by two tables during delivery, but I ordered extra linens so we were able to push together some of the venues tables and make do

• caterer pulled the cake away before the couple cut it, I immediately noticed the cake was gone and stopped them before they started serving it

• florist forgot a boutonniere for one of the dads, so I pulled a flower from a bouquet and made one

• officiant forgot to tell the guests to be seated after the bride processed, so I kneeled along the side of the chairs and quietly asked for them to be seated while the officiant continued

• the second makeup artist cancelled at midnight the night prior, I called in a back up who was able to arrive at the scheduled time with no issues

• a non invited guest, that if seen by the couple or their family saw would have created a major problem showed up, but I gave security their photo, information and had someone constantly standing near the door to keep watch so we were able to get him away with no one knowing

• the couple ran out of their favorite beer which was a very limited option and hard to find, but I called the beer stores closest to the venue the week of the wedding to ensure they had it so I was able to get more with no problems

and the list goes on 😁
