Experimenting with petunia vase longevity - seems that if you cut right from the pot and put it right in the vase, it lasts for days out of a cooler! The colors start to get a greener tinge as they fade, which I’m curious about. But as far as event work goes, I can tell that these blooms are hardy enough to survive through the weekend. ✨

I love a lil bouquet. You’ll never find me talking you out of bouquets for your wedding. Why? Bc they’re cute af and great for giving your anxious hands something to hold, to breathe in when you need a moment, to just simply *enjoy*.

I’m entering my last year living in Chicago, but hopefully not my last time flowering here. It’s with so much excitement to announce our official move to Oregon at the end of wedding season 2024, where we’ll continue to serve our Portland area, coastal, and California couples. This next year is going to be our busiest wedding season yet, traveling to and from Chicago and Portland. I’m over halfway booked for the season and can’t WAIT to jump in this March, kicking off our season with a lovely wedding of winter whites at the start of Chicago spring. 🤍

As for our Chicago flagship, I’m not sure where 2025 leaves us, but I’m hoping to hold a studio here maintained by a studio manager and the help of my favorite freelance designers. Gimme some time to get my ducks in a row and I’ll fill you in more on this later, ok? 🤍

August was quite literally a *blur*.

I’ve been pushing the limits of what I can do on my own and I am exhausted! Learning more about how I want to handle things differently next wedding season as this business keeps growing and my designs are getting grander. I have only 4 more weddings left this year and then it’s rest/ceramic time through spring.

I’m knee deep in proposals for next year, so if you’ve been thinking about reaching out to me or any desired wedding vendors, I’d recommend doing so sooner than later! 2024 is looking hella busy.
