Hello instagram friends! It’s been a very long time since i’ve popped on to say hello! I’m Jill the owner of Starflower.
In 1998-1999 I toured the US, Canada and Mexico with my love in our van. Our van life was focused on hitting all the national parks and natural areas where we could spend our days in nature hiking for hours exhausting ourselves and basking in natural time. We surrendered our watches and did not have cell phones. We relied on a good old paper maps, intuition and friends met along the way to guide our way. During my time living in simplicity and wonder I became completely enamored by the beauty and teachings of mother nature. I also felt my heart pulling me towards flowers. This is where the seeds were planted for Starflower. Wild flower bouquets were collected along the way as well contemplation of either becoming a flower farmer or opening a shop. A reverence for Mother Nature developed in me and has been my best teacher in my business. 23 years of loving flowers!

Who else prefers a smaller more modern bridal bouquet with just a few elements? Having an edited bouquet that allows for your gown to shine and be complimented is the way to go! Had to share this bouquet including some coveted blooms that are all in season right now - hellebore, jasmine vine, japonica and ranunculus that will be blooming in the next few weeks.
